I remain silent. Let my blood speak; let my scars remind you of my pain. Your hands glide gently over my arm. I plead: press your cold fingers upon my pain, see my skin shiver, see the lines left by the blade, see behind the dead skin; see who I really am. I feel faint. All I see is darkness closing in on me. You reach up and with your hand you turn my chin so I can face you, you look deep into my eyes, you kiss my forehead lightly and everything fades away. You put a blade in my hand and you lift your sleeve. You tell me to show you who I am. I press the blade upon your flesh. Your eyes are closed, my heart is thumping in its cage. The blade slips through my fingers, your eyes flicker open, you push me against the wall and dart your tongue into my mouth. You take my breath away. You suck life out of me.
